Every donation, sponsorship, and volunteer hour strengthens programs such as our Honor Guard, veterans’ assistance, scholarships for local youth, and community outreach events.
VFW Post 8203 does not accept online payments. All donations are made safely in person or by mailing a check. Your generosity helps fund veterans’ assistance, community programs, scholarships, and the upkeep of our Post home.
How to give:
- In person: Visit the Post during open hours and speak with the bartender, an officer, or a volunteer. Cash and checks are accepted.
- By mail: Make checks payable to VFW Post 8203 and mail to: 4860 Trott Circle, North Port, FL 34287-3419.
- At events: Many fundraisers and activities include opportunities to contribute while you attend.

- Supporting raffles, ticket sales, and other fundraising activities
- Assisting with community outreach and information tables
- Lending a hand with light maintenance, landscaping, or facility upkeep
We will match your interests and availability with the areas of greatest need.
Local businesses and community organizations play a vital role in sustaining VFW Post 8203 and our mission to serve veterans.
Sponsorship options may include:
- Event sponsorships: Support a fish fry, holiday dinner, tournament, or special ceremony.
- Program sponsorships: Help fund ongoing efforts like scholarships, the Honor Guard, or youth and family events.
- In-kind donations: Contribute goods or services that help us host better events and stretch our budget.
We recognize sponsors in ways that fit your comfort level, such as logo placement on select materials, acknowledgments at events, or a plaque displayed at the Post.
Throughout the year, VFW Post 8203 hosts fish fries, dinners, raffles, ceremonies, and other special events that raise funds to support veterans and our community programs.
