About the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nationwide organization of combat veterans who have served in overseas conflicts. Since 1899, the VFW has worked to ensure that those who fought for our nation receive the care, recognition, and support they earned.
Across the country, local VFW Posts provide a home for camaraderie, community service, advocacy, and remembrance. Members support one another, honor fallen comrades, and stand up for veterans’ rights at the local, state, and national levels.
